Opportunities of VR

Envision yourself in your new office. It has a wonderful view over the financial district and you can see ships in the harbor, some helicopters passing by from time to time…  The traffic far down the 40th floor doesn't bother much. The telephone rings and your secretary reminds you about a meeting  in 15 minutes with the board of directors and some foreign advisors… 

Waiting for that moment you relax and gaze upon the façade of your company’s new building. The green facade and sun seeking solar panels remind you how your building is making you money while you sell energy to the grid. The nature of ambience sound reflects the silence provided by the noble materials that surround you. Yes, sounds great for a CEO but hey… The building is not built yet! You realize it is in plans over your architect’s desk. The site is on works and the previous old buildings are just being demolished. You have just realized you are wearing and Oculus Rift (or HTC Vive, Samsung Gear VR, Google Cardboard), the VR device that lets you tap into these convincing sensations. 

But beyond what can be seen....

Does the building stand for the values of the company?

Does it really convey the image and meaning of the services you provide, in which you believe?

How do you feel sitting there, walking there? 

This is how Virtual Reality can help you stay connected with your future goals and dreams. So with VR the word Vision, is added a new dimension, and a new instrument. Those sensations and emotions you feel while immersed in the close future can be the fuel to keep you navigating on course. Virtual Reality can be an instrument not only to change the color of a wall, but to really feel what is like to live in a favorable future for a moment and send those beneficial signs to the universe.

Consciousness Propelled by Virtual Reality

Life has its stages, as well as culture and civilization. To me, the advent of virtual reality (VR) technologies will propel the living and reliving of experience stages, from being fed up with superficiality, to gain dominion over certain internal forces such as emotions and overactive mind activity. VR can accelerate experience to such extent that humans can awake sooner to more deep and meaningful stages of experience in their reality. This -potentially- can bring much joy and freedom to people, much opportunity to share and communicate between themselves and to share ideas and experiences. The amount of information that can be received and-or given through VR experiences far exceeds the capabilities of mere language and abstraction. As our company is named after, it´s “immersive”.

The fact that often people are left speechless has to do with the fact that the experience of VR immersion is beyond words, beyond description. That’s the potential to engage into human emotions as well as sharing knowledge through a hopefully engaging, joyful, deep and well intended virtual experience. In fact it could be more real than you think. That is why I foresee that in the end, Virtual Reality as a resource, be it in the arts, in business, and in any other area of human life, will propel human consciousness as whole in the XXI Century.

Wird Bewusstsein durch virtuelle Realität projiziert?

Das Leben hat seine Phasen, wie die Kultur und Zivilisation. Für mich wird die Einführung der Technologien um die virtuelle Realität das Erlebnis der verschiedenen Stadien der menschlichen Erfahrung immer wieder projizieren, ausgehend von einer Oberflächlichkeit, und die Herrschaft gewinnen über gewisse innere Kräfte wie Emotionen und den hyperaktiven Geist. Die virtuelle Realität kann das Erlebnis bis zu dem Punkt beschleunigen, dass die Menschen schneller auf tiefere und bedeutungsvollere Erfahrungsstufen der Realität reagieren. Dadurch besteht das Potential den Menschen große Freude und Freiheit zu vermitteln. Darüber hinaus kann es Möglichkeiten bieten zur Kommunikation und dem Teilen von Ideen und Erfahrungen. Die Menge an Informationen die durch Erfahrungen mit der virtuellen Realität empfangen und / oder weitergegeben werden können, sind weitaus größer als die Möglichkeiten der bloßen Sprache und Abstraktion, wie der Name unserer Firma sagt, "immersive" (wirklichkeitsnah). Die Tatsache, dass die Menschen öfters sprachlos bleiben, hat mit der lebensechten Erfahrung zu tun die über Worte und Beschreibungen hinausgeht. Das Potenzial besteht im Einbinden der Emotionen sowie das Teilen von Wissen durch eine virtuelle Erfahrung die hoffentlich Freude bereiten, sowie tief sein wird und gut gemeint ist. In der Tat könnte es wirklicher sein als man glaubt. Deshalb sage ich voraus, dass am Ende, virtuelle Realität als eine Art Ressource gesehen wird, welche das menschliche Bewusstsein als Ganzes ins einundzwanzigste Jahrhundert projizieren wird, ob in der Kunst, der Wirtschaft, oder in allen anderen Bereichen des menschlichen Lebens.
